I figured out the pattern
The first clog took over a year of being a UFO before attempting the pattern instructions again. The second clog of the pair flew off the needles. The felting was a two part process with several days drying in between. They still have slippery soles but they are so toasty warm in this artic weather. Here is a photo of them... they do even LOOK like clogs. Ha

Christmas , yes again this year!
I spent the better part of Friday night watching a Rolling Stones new movie on VH1 and making Christmas cards. Not exactly traditional but it worked. Here is an array of the eight cards it took me all evening to make. Each one is different. Some 'special' friends will be getting one of these.. lucky you!

Summer days
I've been finishing dresses for Bleuette. Just the handsewing for finishing touches. She has so many paterns I'd like to try but my days seem to fly by while I thumb through the pages of the pattern notebooks I keep.
Here are some dresses I've completed recently.

Clematis and such
A warm wet spring has made my second year clematis burst forth with huge blooms. Lovely blooms are along back deck railing so they have a limited audience to appreciate their beauty.
This was my second plant to attempt a healthy growth so I'm delighted it is producing so well.
Quiet weekend here. Two nights of work mid holiday weekend so no plans for a special celebration.
Hope you have a nice weekend

Tulip time in Blooming El Paso
Spring is in full bloom here. Sunny days and uplifted spirits seen in everyone's faces. I planted some fifty red tulips last fall and they are up and blooming this week. It is too bad their season is so short since they are so colorful.
Enjoy the photos

Where is Spring
Snow and more snow here. A brief respite with frigid air for right now. The cats look longingly out the windows but hurry right back in the door, once they've ventured out side.
Our dear Sunshine cat had a few days in the hospital after a bout of feeling poorly but now is her old spunky self. We'd forgotten how kitten like she can be.
Tom also had a bit of illness and his first episode as a patient in a hospital and is also feeling better each day.
I'm experimenting with the basic bread pudding recipes and although the dishes look really pretty I haven't found the just the right taste I'm looking for yet. Although I've discovered maple syrup can make a nice topping if it is a bit dry.
Been sewing and knitting and reading and listening to audio books this year. What have you been making or doing?
I'll add some photos although none of snow....
